Teresa Whited graduated from the University of Oklahoma with her BSN and MS, and then attended Texas Christian University to achieve her Doctor of Nursing Practice. She is board certified by the Pediatric Nursing Credentialing Board as a Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (PNP). Teresa began her career in 2003 as a PNP at the Oklahoma Children’s Heart Center and became faculty at the University of Oklahoma in 2009. She moved to Arkansas in 2015, and currently is Director of the MNSc Program and Specialty Coordinator of the PNP program at University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. Teresa has been with Arkansas Pediatric Clinic since 2016. Teresa is president of ARNAPNAP, a member of the Arkansas Centers for Nursing, national NAPNAP, and NONPF. Her interests include general pediatrics and pediatric cardiology.
Teresa is married to James and they have 2 children-Alayna and Lance. Teresa is the Children’s Church coordinator for her church. The Whiteds enjoy kayaking, fishing, hiking, and outdoor activities.
